girls and guys, i need some input.

i'm going to a get together this weekend and i have a few outfits in mind but am not sure which one i ought to go with. so i'd like to enlist your opinion in helping me narrow down the selection. i just took these on the fly in the dressing room so i haven't paired it with the right accessories or outerwear or things of that nature. i am wearing the same black jeans in all the photos, but i haven't thought about the bottoms for any of these outfits yet. i'm veering towards dark indigo jeans or some cool distressed rinse but it could also be black pants or something. as for the shoes, it will most likely be black boots - especially if rain is threatening on the horizon. of course a very cool pointy heel would be great too but haven't worn those in awhile and i may not last all night. :p i'm just being a very realistic gal here.

so, take a look and cast your votes & opinions on my blog page. i'm interested in hearing which one or more outfits you think i ought to go with and input from BOTH guys AND dolls are equally important. i've put my thoughts on each outfit as well.

and oh yes, the get together is for a dinner and possibly some dancing.

thanks in advance for your input & participation. don't be shy.

outfit a

ruched waist tie top in black by BR

w: i personally like this one a lot because it's quite a sweet look with the ruched neckline and the ribbon tie waistline. i feel quite girly here even though the color is in a badass black. i think my tattoo shows quite a bit in the back though - not that it's an issue.

outfit b

silk mesh draped top in black by BR

w: this one is really one of the favorites for me as i like the drapiness of the silk mesh. it's very comfortable and movement is easy. the sheerness of it is sexy but still has a hint of subtlety. the sleeves and neckline reminds me of some vampiress outfit. tattoo shows alot on this one as well. the fit is a bit more forgiving than outfit a.

outfit c

fresco green silk raw edge camisole paired with a sheer merino cardigan in panorama turquoise by BR

w: i look so red here compared to the photos above. i like the spring colors of these two pieces together. the cardigan is a good layering piece and i would wear this partially buttoned to emphasize the waist line. i could even see wearing this cardigan with the two black shirts from outfits a & b as well. this outfit reminds me of some tropical island and i look like i have lobster red skin here.

outfit d

double layer keyhole top in smoothy pink by BR

w: this has got to be one of the worst designed blouses ever. there's a thin layering tank underneath but once you take it off, it's impossible to find which way is the right side. but i do like the color as it's a nice coral color - not quite pink, not quite peach. the keyhole tie is neat but at times i feel like i'm doing to fall out of the top. this would be a fun blouse to go salsa dancing in i think but not sure of how it looks overall. maybe i'm just being too self conscious.

outfit e

pink HALOGEN tank top with a SHINE mocha and silver glitter ballerina tie top

w: the mocha and silver glitter ballerina tie top is very cute. it's hard to see it here but i thought a pretty soft pink tank would balance it well. i would tie the ballerina top a bit tighter though to emphasize the balance between top and bottom more. it's rare that i wear glittery items but i think people need to break out of the norm more often. be daring. be different. add some pizazz into your closet.

outfit f

ELLA MOSS turquoise and chartreuse layer top

w: this is one of my faves really. i haven't worn this anywhere before and it's two pieces in one. the turquoise shirt should fall off the shoulder a bit while exposing the chartreuse green tank top straps underneath. it's a bit slouchy but the wide hip hugging banded bottom balances it out especially with a bright hint of the chartreuse tie. the drapiness of the tank's neckline is a nice touch too. it's very comfy, relaxed, yet stylish all at the same time and i'm obviously not afraid of color. i didn't realize this is almost the same color as outfit c above.

i have a couple other outfits in mind as well but this is already confusing enough. i'm anxious to hear everyone's thoughts. go vote & be heard! thanks! :)

p.s. no need to remind me that i'm not thin in these photos. the obvious is already noted. thanks again. :x

i'm out.
