you know there's something amiss when you've been on antibiotics for a week and you're progressively getting...worse. so i decided to see my doctor again last night to find that i am indeed not improving and that it's not all my imagination. my symptoms have not only gotten worse but there's new symptoms as well due to the infection in the face. oy.

machine. i neglected to get the MRI one last year. isn't it very iPod-like?
so he wrote a prescription for me to get a CT scan on my head today to see what condition my sinuses are in and if there are any polyps growing in there. i went back to the same place where i got my MRI done last year for my torn tendon. but the CT scan in comparison was a breeze. you're in this big machine for no more than 5 minutes and then you're ready to leave.
i'm actually quite curious to know what is going on inside my head. i get these godforsaken sinus infections that don't seem to ever want to go away. and they last for an eternity it seems. my doctor told me to stay home from work this entire week but that would be impossible i think. although i've been logging into work this entire afternoon, my body really needs to be in bed tucked under the covers watching ISAAC.
speaking of which, does anyone else watch the isaac mizrahi show as well? i really love this designer. really funny, charming and witty. i really enjoyed his documentary many years ago called unzipped. i love how his set is also part of his design studio where he's doing couture right now. and i smile at the small audience that he has there. you know you will get a good seat and be on tv on his show! not like oprah where it's like freakin staples center.
hope i'll have positive news for my CT scan results. i would really like to avoid having a surgery to remove any polyps found but i guess if i have to do it, i just....have to.
